We are currently attempting to contact a number of customers whose gas accounts are now closed but who have not claimed the remaining credit balances owed to them.
If your account is affected, you may receive a call, text message or email from us, quoting MEC (My Energy Credit), followed by your previous BES account number.
Once we’ve successfully carried out our Data Protection checks, we will arrange to refund any credit balance owing.

We call this deal, the budget plan payment scheme (GBPP). This is offered to all customers with the required AQ and its purpose is to simply help customers plan and manage their commercial gas charges.
