BES Commercial Electricity price freeze puts pressure on the Big Six

With Britain’s largest energy suppliers expected to announce price increases ahead of winter, BES Commercial Electricity has announced a price freeze on their electricity tariffs until spring 2014.

This month SSE, Centrica and npower have already announced an increase in their tariffs and other suppliers are expected to follow suit in the coming days. However, the BES Commercial Electricity price guarantee gives customers peace of mind, ensuring they can continue to focusing on their businesses without having to worry about increasing electricity costs.

Founded by Directors Andy Pilley and Michelle Davidson, BES Commercial Electricity is part of the BES Utilities Group which supplies gas, electricity and most recently, telecommunications to businesses nationwide. Since its formation, the Group of companies has seen strong growth, currently employing over 250 local people.

“The likelihood of further electricity price increases from the Big Six suppliers will undoubtedly increase the pressure on small businesses who are already struggling with rising costs. Because of this, we feel that it can only be beneficial for us to promise our customers that they will not experience any electricity price rises this winter.” says Andy Pilley.

“It also means that our customers can continue doing what they do best and focus on running their businesses without having to worry about their electricity bills.”

Michelle Davidson comments, “With businesses looking to protect themselves from winter price hikes, the battle is on for smaller suppliers to safeguard consumers during this period of economic hardship.”

“As a growing independent energy supplier, we understand that the rise in cost of energy affects us all and many customers are worried in how it will affect their bills.”

“BES Commercial Electricity understands exactly what our customers want, and with our flexible, responsive approach, we deliver outstanding customer service and first-rate customer care.”
