Ninth Ward, an old-world, American style bar and restaurant in London, has been a BES customer for the last four years, and they have been really impressed by the level of support they have received.
BES supplies both gas and electricity to Ninth Ward, which was set up by Ed Armstrong in 2014 after he fancied a change of lifestyle and took a leap from finance to something he loves, and he has never looked back.

The energy consumption at Ninth Ward reduced drastically over the last few months due to the pandemic, so instead of estimating, Ed was asked to provide meter readings so he would receive accurate bills, protecting his cash flow.
“At the beginning of lockdown, we were all faced with so much uncertainty, and businesses, particularly those in the hospitality industry, were afraid they wouldn’t survive,” said Ed.
“BES, in particular my account manager Kane, have been so supportive and understanding throughout this period, which allowed me to focus on my business rather than worrying about my energy bills.”
Ed is so happy with the level of service he receives from BES, that he’s just switched one of his other sites over.
